About the artist

I'm Angel. I was born and raised in Hawaii on the islands of oahu and kauai. I started editing and graphic design when I was a teen, creating collages and photo edits for my loved ones. As I learned rules and editing through photography classes, I gained knowledge I take with me everyday. Along with 3 students and a teacher, I created a student based film class called Kauai Film Academy in 2010; learning and practicing cinematography, editing, and producing. Growing to realize the person viewing can feel when there is passion and mindfulness behind the art.
I moved to Huntsville, Alabama in 2020 with my husband and son to start a new chapter.  Finally, I chose to pursue a life long dream and open my digital art business, Grand Aurum Canvas Designs in 2022. Meeting new people, touching hearts, and creating something that is tailored and special to them, fuels me to continue my journey.
Aside from digital art, I have been working in culinary for over 10 years, following excellent chefs and leaders. I enjoy making memories with friends and family, playing ukulele, and learning how to create and master new things.
